Lyndsey Schley -Journalist

Lyndsey Schley is a multimedia journalist. She currently interns at INSIDER, where she creates food videos for social media. The job includes researching subjects, coordinating shoots and writing scripts.

She graduated from Kent State University with a B.S. in Journalism in May of 2015. She interned at WKSU, a National Public Radio affiliate that covers 22 counties in Northeast Ohio. She’s created and voiced radio features, helped with production of Morning Edition and created everyday content. Lyndsey also periodically wrote for The Kent Stater, her university’s student newspaper. She had been writing for school publications since she was 14.

In her free time, Lyndsey enjoys creative writing, cooking and T.V. binging. Her essay on Firefly has been published in an academic journal for Joss Whedon studies. She was born in Tallmadge, Ohio and currently resides in New York City.
